Below you will find the lesson rates of Muziekschool Diemen for the season 2024/2025.

Trial lessons

Adults (≥ 21 yrs)
The basic duration of a lesson is 20 minutes. You can discuss with your teacher, or after a trial lesson, whether more lesson minutes are desirable. The listed rates are valid for a whole school year (from September). Starting in October and every month thereafter, the rates are 10% lower. You pay per whole month, except for the first month.
Your rate as an adult includes the statutory 21% VAT.

Youth outside Diemen
You are younger than 21, do not live in Diemen and do not go to a primary school in Diemen.
The basic duration of a lesson is 20 minutes. You can discuss with your teacher, or after a trial lesson, whether more lesson minutes are desirable. The listed rates are valid for a whole school year (from September). Starting in October and every month thereafter, the rates are 10% lower. You pay per whole month, except for the first month.

Trial lesson
The first lesson is always a trial lesson. If it stays that way, the lesson is free. If you continue, that was the first lesson in the series.

4x trials
It is also possible to take four paid trial lessons (of 20 minutes). If you continue for the entire season after the trial lessons, the costs of the trial lessons will be included in the invoice for the tuition fee. If you do not continue, you will pay the 4 lessons + 25 euros administration costs. If you are older than 21, you will pay VAT on that.

Family discount
When registering a second child for individual lessons, we give a 10% discount on the course price and for a third child 15%. The discount is given in order of registration and applies only to individual lessons for an instrument or singing.

Payment method
You can pay the tuition fee in one go or in multiple installments. You can indicate your choice with the first payment.

Limitedfinancial options
Are you a resident of Diemen but do you have limited financial options? Don’t hesitate and contact us. We can then look at the possibilities together with you and the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture. The Youth Fund for Sports & Culture Culture has various regulations and can help the student with an instrument and tuition. Lessons can only start after the support has been granted.
